Grain Operations
The California Central Valley is a major consumer of grain products mostly for animal feed and manufacturing purposes. Many of the industries that receive unit grain trains are modeled on the route many which are found in the vicinity of Kings Park, one notable grain industry, Pittman Family Farms located just north of Kings Park, where an unloading loop track can be found. The loop will fit roughly 110 cars with power. Grain trains terminating in Fresno typically drop their DPU’s at Bakersfield Yard prior to transiting on to the Bakersfield Sub.

The The Bakersfield Sub has been set up to handle 3 locals

Branch Lines
Two branch lines are present, Lonestar is a 5.6 mile branch that starts between Una and Shafter, at the end is a large LPG plant as well as an industry set up to handle sand. The second branch line leads to the town of Alpaugh which hosts a small agricultural industry.
Operational Considerations
In order to prevent issues with AI spawning on the west end of the route an extra siding has been provided just to the west of the Fresno Amtrak station, called Hammond. This siding exists prototypically however on a smaller scale and is used by the SJVRR for setting out cars for the Hammond industrial spur. If any expansion further north occurs this section of trackage will be removed and reverted back to its prototypical state.
